Good morning everyone, I haven't been around for a day or so. I'm getting pretty bored, went ot help the neighbor cut & haul wood yesterday just to have something to do. Things are the same here, lots of snow. DS built a cool snowman yesterday, I will post a pic later.

They cancelled church this morning so we are watching cartoons.

I have noticed the last 2 days the temp in my incubator is 2 degrees below what it has been for the last 2 weeks, is this normal towards the end of hatch? Not going to adjust it, playing it safe.

Poco, are you sure it is from a surge & not the temp changing in the basement. If it is the temp in the basement you can close off part of the vents. Maybe someone with more experiance will come along.

NoCity- no that isn't normal, the temp should stay the same. I would wonder if the room temp around the incubator is different.

Morning folks, we have lite rain, maybe it will melt off some of the snow..then it might be so bad on wed.

Sorry you have sick kids!!

I am thinking they don't want to have anyone try to get to church with this roads in the shape they are in & taking a chance of slipping & falling in the parking lot.

We weren't going to try to go if it was open.

So far no rain/sleet/snow here this morning but I believe it is on it's way. I hope we don't get any rain, I know it would help melt the snow but I am more worried that if the sleet comes behind it, we are back to the ice storm that took our power for 14 days.

Morning Folks, getting ready for the big game, cooking some of my favorites and watching all the pregame. Weather is fine here and the birds are doing well, I am even starting to get egg's again but most of those are going straight into the bator, I am running a constant staggered hatch this year I hope it works out.
