Ohhhhhhh, I am gonna have to make my way over there to some auctions! I absolutely LOVE auctions! I am a bit of a hatching addict. I have a Sportsman, that I just can't seem to unplug, and I have 5 table top bators that I use as hatchers. I have way too many chicks hatched this past month already. This addiction may become problematic, unless I start downsizing some more, very soon!

TSC Only carries LG incubators, and you sure don't want one of those at any $$, you couldn't give one to me for free.

Good morning Al!!! I went out this morning in my shorts t shirt and mu crocks to unload a sack of feed a buddy brought by for four pigs I have for him, it is not too bad out really, the wind is down here and we have some snow left on the ground but a lot has melted off, got to use the hoses to water with yesterday!!! I think I am going to work towards a huge barn in the near future for my chickens and rabbits, equipped with water and lights to each pen, this is three winters and one really hot summer I have gone through here on this place and I just am not happy with my set up!!! I have lots of salvage materials to build with, now just need time anweather cooperation to get something built, I think the wife will appreciate a barn also!!!
Al I have a question on the 1202 sportsman incubator for you or someone else!!! My Hygromitor has a sock on it and I have it in the tub of water inside the bator, it is reading(if I am reading it right!) at 10-115 % humidity, am I suppose to have that high of humidity? What do I need to do, can I take the sock off the reader rod and get a better reading of the true humidity, it seems to me that with the sock on it in the tub it has to read at least 100% all the time it is wet!!! Thanks for the help all!!!! Lynn

Kathy, can you tell me more about the Icelandics, are they a standard size or bantum, are they a recognized APA breed? Do they come in different color varieties? How long have you raised chickens if you don't mind my asking? Lynn:cool:
