Very nice pictures, so many nice birds! What kind of chicken is the one riding on the man's shoulder?

An Easter Egger. The friendlies breed by far, is the Delaware. They are constantly underfoot, begging to be carried around! You can see it here, when my daughter took pictures ....

Just messin' with you Steelers fans. They are a darn good team (although I still hate 'em).

Should be a good game tonight either way. Two very good defenses combined with great offenses. I watch on a delay so I won't be checking in until after Green Bay has won I mean until after the game is over. Don't anyone to give it away.

Y'all have fun!!!

Hey Teach, Coral, and mj wanted to ask if you as teachers(and all you other teachers!) have heard of a program for educating kids about nature and such called OutdoorEd.com I think, I seen it on the hunting channel and thought it sounded kinda neat. Lynn

I guess I said it wrong .... we aren't exactly, "a group," but just some people wanting to preserve the Icelandics, the "Viking Chicken." You will see lots of information on the Icelandics thread. My stock came from Mary (The Warden) that started the thread. I think I have about 50 chicks hatched out now, and most are roosters, of course! LOL

I will gladly provide chicks or eggs to anyone interested in this effort. No standard, no breeding protocol .... easy peasy....
