I take lots of pics of insects of all kinds, while I don't want any on me (like handling them or anything) I do think they are amazing to look at especially in the macro up close where you can see the details.

had a minor emergency- went out to check birds and there is blood all over the porch, seems one of the guinies ripped her nail, so i get her in the coop- course she isn't thrilled with that, try to see it closer and was able to toss some flower on it- needless to say, i'm NOT her favorite human right now- after thinking about it- the cold is good, maybe it well seal it better- she's up in the tree telling everyone what an awful person i am!
Carah- you are a sweetheart! hopefully the road will let you come in- if not, maybe the roads will be better tomorrow

I've always wondered why they don't carry some type of small strap on skis to go under the cot wheels in this kind of weather. It would slide over the snow instead of trying to plow through it.
