He took his bible w/ him to the outhouse to read while "answering the call of nature" then when he was finished there he started up the path to go to the truck and gun show when he happened upon the guinea nest and collected the eggs, but didn't want to take time from the gun show to go back to the house so just brought them w/ him.

Makes sense!

Did the bleeding stop? Is she okay?

well, i packed it with neosporin, and dusted it with flour, which did stop it, until she picked at it- so i had her in my lap most the afternoon to keep her from picking it- silly bird- anyway- check this out....

I can't say publicly what we used for our nest boxes b/c I think technically it is a federal crime!

Cardboard boxes lines with shredded $100 bills? Wooden boxes filled with Bald Eagle feathers?

Both Shameful Crimes!

Yes, she looks like our komondors. Definitely a bargain at $50 for a breed of dog that is an excellent livestock and personal guardian. I hope one of our BYC Okies considers adopting her.

Well folks were all back from the Fletcher auction tonight, big fantastic crowd tonight with lot's of new faces there hence the very high selling prices. I was glad for that as this time I sold some of my prized project Roosters and they did very well to my amazement, so well I wish I had more time to run back home and get more of them LOL. had a great time as always with our wonderful BYC friends... Michael & Macy, Marybeth & Dean, Carla & that other guy, Roy/Teach and the Boy's, Shavon made a welcomed appearence from SE Ok with her hushband Andrew which many of us just met for the first time, Barnswallow and her Gaggle of fun, Jim & Erlene, MJ & DH and I am sure I am missing a few. Most of our group made out like Bandits so we treated ourselfs to a great family dinner at Trivet's resturant in Elgin. They have the most fantastic Pie there and we all of course partook of that treat, her is a few photo's of our dinner together.

AL

Sharing a good meal after another great auction.
