No pigeon or chicken shows of any greatness in the panhandle...and Woodward doesn't count! (there isn't one there anyways

) There are a few shows in the Texas panhandle...Dumas, Amarillo, and the guys usually put one together in the SE part of CO...not bad driving for out here!

Chicken Trains are fun! I likes meeting folks! I have covered lots of ground in the name of chickens!

I will attest to the fact that OkCarla and those Jarvis folks have some nice birds but the only thing that beats their bird quality is the people quality! Great folks!

Peaches - had a great great time at the auction!

Speaking of OkCarla...the boys want to move in with you! I think they had more fun than they were expecting.

I am glad you came... Didnt get to visit much, but did enjoy what I got the chance to do...
Thanks for helping my hand out... I appreciate it....
Looking forward to POOPS....

Michael - thank you for posting this information. I was wondering about the facilities and if there would be anywhere one could safely leave birds if need be.

Who was it that was building and selling cages at POOPS last year? I am in the market for some nice cages this year if they are available.

Okay - "back to work" time for me. Will be out all week but will try to sneak a post in now and then...hope everyone's week goes well!

City, That was us that were building those cages... What kind of cages are you needing... I also have some cages that are 6 and 7 hole cages that I would be glad to part with.

Peaches are those the kind that have the open bottoms that collaps down? If she isn't interested I sure might be for Lil'Sooner to use when working with her show chickens.

Hey Bo, I would probably be interested in joining. Dont know if you remember me, but I used to be an electrician out at Tyson. I left at the end of 1999. I am Kathy Britton's son if you remember her from out there.

Sooner - you talking about the knd you see at shows? totally open bottom that you make awood base for they open at the to and such then fold onto themselves so you can slip them between stuff to store? I know a guy...but he is kinda hard to deal with...requires bribery

If you are the guy then I have the bribe all taken care of.

Yes those are the one's I am talking about.

can you wait until POOPS beautiful?

The only thing mine don't have that most of the show pens have is the double wall between pens to stop rooster fights...I don't put roosters in them unless I put a pieve of cardboard or something up...
