NOTICE TO THE OKIE CHICKEN TRAIN:

I am going to the Panhandle Friday March 11 and returning to Tulsa Sunday March 13. I go straight out on West 412 - past I-35, through Enid and Woodward...just in case anyone cares.

Well, all this rain has put an end to my big plan of cleaning out the big coop today. At least I took the feed I bought yesterday out of the back of the truck last night, or I would have had to use some strong language this morning.

I nearly had a heart attack this morning anyway when I looked out the window and saw I had left the door to the EE coop/run open last night. I could see two of the three out and about doing their usual thing, but the other hen was nowhere in sight.

It turned out that she was the smart one, staying in the coop where it was dry.
