I only have 6 producing hens and probably 10 pullets that should start laying any day. We're getting 3-4 eggs a day now. Oh, and I have at least 5 roosters that need new homes.

Carla , well keep me in mind when those girls start layin good , or would you like to part with a trio ? lol

If you give me pick of the litter on a munchkin .... I'll give you a batch of BLRW chicks. I'll start the incubator up tomorrow. Right now, I could part with a trio of roosters

Here is a link to the auctions in Oklahoma that we know about

Eggs sold for human consumption are going to have to meet some health code requirements, like keeping them at the correct temperature. I don't know what other requirements there are, but it is best if you can sell them from your property - since there are relaxed health code regulations for products of the farm sold directly from the farm.

There may not be any on Sunday's, but if you make a plan to meet some of us crazy auction goers we sure can help you ID good LF birds. Blanchard is a good one that is close to you they have them on Saturday nights and normaly have several hudred birds to choose from.

Michael may be at Mary's flea market on Sunday, he had alot of laying hens & some nice game birds out there today. If you are interested I'm sure someone can put you in contact with him to make sure he will be there.

Joe - Yes. I plan to go to Chupps on March 5th. The bad weather ruined any chance for the Chupps auction last month, but March looks okay. I don't have many birds to sell right now. I'm mostly going to look. I hope I can talk my husband into going too. He was all set to go last month, but, well, you know how unpredictable Oklahoma weather is.
