Donnie thats funny that you posted pics of the merle tacos tonight. I was just telling my wife I saw one at the sale today! It was more the black/merle/tri-color. I thought" wow I need to find out where he lives so I can breed mine to it" , but it was a girl!

Joe I would love some of each but right now I have more breeds than I need and I need to get more cages built, I would love some later on so keep me in mind, and I like the Phoenix but can't really buy them right now!!! I had some hatchery run Red Shoulder Yokohama and I liked them, love the walnut combs on them, but mine were way smaller than I wanted and I lost my hens to varmints so got rid of the roos. I would love to have some RSY of good quality, the hatchery ones don't do their color justice and it would take a lot of breeding to improve the ones I got!!! Love the LF Blue Sumatras and I had some of the best LF Black Sumatras in the state at one time(15 years ago) They are gorgeous!!! Lynn

Michael may be at Mary's flea market on Sunday, he had alot of laying hens & some nice game birds out there today. If you are interested I'm sure someone can put you in contact with him to make sure he will be there.

think i will go out there in the morning
does he park in the same spot or how would i find him
if i buy something would like to from someone from here
thanks

Michael usually has a long red horse trailer on the North Fence of Mary's swap meet, right next to the walk through gate that is closest to Midwest Blvd. (the walkthrough gate is only about 5 car spaces from Midwest Blvd)

Our 1st hatch of the year was a bust save for 2 chicks. 1 of DS's and 1 of the olive eggers-roo of course.

I'm wondering if the giant humidity or temp swings with the wonky weather this week had anything to do with it.

Had a fun visit with Betsy. My youngest would happily move in there anytime and in any of her coops. Amazing set-up. Both my girls are on cloud nine with their newest fluffballs. Some really beautiful views along the way. I only got off course once and it was very brief and at least this trip to OK I didn't hit anything! Even beat the freezing drizzle home by about an hour.

My pellet stove is still broken and I'm out of wood, so whoever ordered the cold weather, please stop. I'm ready for planting, fuzzybutts and outdoor playtime.

The screw on the outside of the incubator is screwed into the wafer, so if you back off that long screw, the wafer will fall out. I only know how to set one of the thermostats - my neighbor set them for me when I first put it into operation. I use a digital thermometer inside the cabinet with a wireless display on the outside, and adjust the long screw from the outside on the wafer closest to the door, until the light goes out when it reaches the temperature I want to be my temperature.

I tried to find the explanation by NNbreeder regarding setting a thermostat and only went back to March 2010 - so this is all I found in # 36761:

You obviously did better than I did on my trip home from Duncan today. Someone told me to take the bypass when I left the fairgrounds and I would be able to avoid driving through downtown Duncan. Unfortunately, I didn't pay enough attention to their directions and instead of going West, I went East . . . and wound up taking Hwy 7 all the way to I35. I don't get lost very often, but I sure take some scenic routes from time to time

Hasn't this weather been nuts? It was 67 degrees this afternoon and only about 38 degrees yesterday afternoon.

We're still freezing here and wet. More rain expected tomorrow, but at least we're supposed to get to 68F.

I only went about a block out of route. I realized it as soon as I turned, but had to find a spot to turn around. Used Betsy's directions to get there, but used the GPS to get home and apparently it favors 169 vs 75. I had forgotten that from the Shawnee trip, but it was okay since I didn't run into the same construction problems. I didn't even realize it until I called Betsy on the way home and told her where I thought I was and she figured it out.

Even overcast like it was, the views of the lake are just magnificent. Even my little one was wowed by it. She just had to hold up her newest fluffybutt and show him.
