I took too many pictures at the party today to choose a few, so I'm posting this one because it's the first chick DGD has ever held. I'll be burning some CDs for DD. Victoria was so funny. She looked over at her mom and winked. I think she used silent speech to say, "Mom. Looks like it's genetic."

Okay we are waiting on another batch of storms to get here,then thevworse is supposed to hit in the early morning hours.
We are watching the Oscar Thimbu on tv!
I got the two brooch hens set up. Can't wait till there weeks from now and Hopefuly I will a bunch of fussy butts!
Had a guy come by this afternoon and bought a pair of rare pigeons.I was glad to sell them after they got yesterday! I was not liking the thought of an expensive pair of birds being hawk food!

That makes 31 people to date, we had a little over 125 folks last year so we have a way to go, and plenty of time.

So Today, I was in Atwoods with all 5 kids and the girls said, I hear Chirping.... "Mom, What is that?" They said... I told them it was baby chickens and ducks, and turkeys and guineas...

We went over there and they said, "Mom, Can we buy one and take it home?"

This is what we took home. Thirteen of them. Husband already called me a softy... If I can spoil the girls with birds, I will....
