They used their forklift to place it directly onto the flat bed, we strapped it down and when we got home, we unloaded it into the front loader of the tractor to move it into the barn since we don't have pallet hooks for the tractor (something I am currently looking for by the way)

My brother made is own that fit in the bucket, and they work great
They bolt inside and we lift 500 # pallets with no trouble at all

If I were coming to poops I would bring some feed.but I just can't afford the cost

My 2004 Prius does great out there - I try to stay on pavement... Depending on which direction the wind is blowing, I've gotten 55 mpg between Texhoma and Elmwood. Other times it's only a measly 38-44 mpg. It really isn't as small as it looks - the back seats fold down and you can pile a bunch of stuff in though the hatchback.

i like the new volt

2011-Chevrolet-Volt1.jpg

Touted as the "world's first mass-produced electric vehicle with extended range capability," Chevy's Volt has a total driving distance of about 350 miles. For the first 25 to 50 miles, the Volt utilizes electricity stored in the 16-kWh lithium-ion battery. When the battery runs low, the gas-powered generator kicks in, providing an additional 300 miles to the extended-range electric vehicle (E-REV). Besides its all electric mode, with a range of up to 40 miles, the Volt uses a three-cylinder turbo charged one-liter engine with 160 horsepower and 236 foot-pounds of torque. This means, in theory, the driver could go to work and back and never spend a dime on gas.

Power

The 2011 Chevrolet Volt has good acceleration from a standstill and proves very responsive at moderate speeds as well, the kind of performance that's typical of electric vehicles. Its 273 lb-ft of torque is available any old time you plant the throttle. The 2011 Chevrolet Volt proves electric driving can be spirited. Not only does the Volt reach a top speed of 100 mph, the electric drive unit's excellent low speed torque of 273 lb.-ft. (368 Nm) takes it from 0 to 60 mph in less than 9.0 seconds and the quarter mile in less than 17.0 seconds.

Monty,
I can tell you we will be donating some very nice birds to the auction however I cannot state which ones at this time, it will depend on the numbers when we get closer to the date.
