He is still snoozing.... But was awake 3 or 4 times last night crying... Dont know what it was... One time he said his chest was hurting...

Maybe an upper respiratory infection? His ears may be involved too if he woke up crying in the middle of the night. Is he coughing?

We all have allergies due to all the stuff blooming and budding, but really he hasnt had it too bad... But it maybe an allergy problem. I just hope it wasnt nightmares
from me trying to hold him down last night to put eyedrops in his eyes... I think he is really clostaphobic. If you get to close he panics like that... so could be....

I have to admit that nightmares would never occur to me as a reason a child would wake up. I knew our son and grandsons didn't like being held down to administer medicine but since it was by someone who loved them, I never felt like it traumatized them beyond the moment. . . . and the benefit of the medicine in my mind outweighed any temporary trauma/temper tantrum.

Peaches I hope Hotdog gets to feeling better, nothing worse than a sick child, we feel so helpless. Lil'Sooner is home once again today. I guess she is going to get a 2week spring break. She did sound alittle better today if we can just get her head to stop hurting.

Due to some financial problems and my gettin layed off in december, we are gonna be sellin a few birds...if any of you local folks are interested in some Bantam Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, let me know...they are mostly splashes but I found a guy in texas that has bantam blrw and was gonna send me a good cockerel soon...I have 4 pullets and 1 cockerel, around 4 months old...shoot me a pm if interested...

Well at least the sun is out today - I hope that means it will be warmer today. I guess I could check the weather forecast and find out...

You should all know if these are the same birds they originated here last week, they were sold to be broodies only for the hatching of other birds. They are by no means of breeder quality for the variety noted. We sold teh original breeders we had due to the inability of the birds to reproduce anthing of thier likeness in color and lacing quality. I am now wishing I had just culled the birds as they are being misrepresented.
