One of my best buds for many years lives in that area. I've been trying to get in touch with him but no luck so far. I don't want to call because they need all the lines clear for emergencies, plus I'm sure he has more important concerns at the moment, but it is disconcerting I haven't heard back. I hope he and his extended family are all okay. It really brings tragedies like this home.

Thank you CityClucks for the link! Much appreciated! May hit the one in Choteau this weekend. Husband is very adament that I don't need any more birds, but I would really like to find a couple of dark brown egg laying pullets. I guess I will just have to lay on the "pretty please" and eye lash batting until he givens in! LOL

I just heard from a friend who is working at Disneyworld Tokyo. He has only been there a week or so.
He said he is Ok but it is chaotic there to say the least.

Welcome Spunky, so now we have newbies from Morris and Beggs here. I am oriiginally from Wilson, just North of Henryetta.
I watched the Morris girls at State tournament yesterday. Sorry they lost. I talked to Bucky Ewton who I haven't seen in years plus another old friend.
Hope you enjoy being a part of us. We are usually pretty laid back and have lots of folks with chicken knowledge so feel freee to ask questions.

Heya New people of BYC welcome snuggle up and pull up a chair grab a cup of coffee or as we say Black mud and make yourselves at home.

Chores went well this morning the only birds that attacked me was my Black aussies demanding treats and my standard Dark cornish rooster who Seems to think I am a hen now for some odd reason he walks beside me dropping his wing and dancing at my feet Sigh. I cut the long hair what on earth is his problem.

Okie Moses! Nice to meet you.
What a small world! I am Bucky Ewton's Administrative Assistant here at the school!!!
The girls played a good game...got oh so close to state champs, I am proud of them and Coach Caly as well!

Isn't it amasing how small the world relly is! We have family and friends in all parts of the world. Even in a liilte known no place in the dusty panhandle there are people who know people everywhere. !lol Not only amasing but scary huh Teach:gig
What kind o0f chicks you hatching now Teach? Are these at school.
I been busy clipping toenails. Don't forget to check your birds feet often. When they are in cages or muddy pens they tend grow out long because they can't scratch them down. Here even on the ground you have to because there are not rocks or gravel, just mud!

Hey y'all... somebody was kind enough to post a link so I could find my way here....

Teach - hey, I know where Hooker, OK, is.............. FAR FAR AWAY....LOL Went through there some years ago on our way from KS to TX, the FAR AWAY part of each....LOL
