Some people have all the luck. I'm jealous. Me, it would have been a Leghorn.

Blame the system that created them.

Personally, I've learned not to get too attached to the chickens around my place, as they are all eventually going to end up on a dinner plate. I don't love any of them, but like all of them.

Well, except Leghorns.

To each his own, though.

Does someone know anything about the poultery auction north of Sallisaw, on Brushy Mountian? I see they are having a sale On Saturday at 5pm.

you are right- if i am going to send him to freezer camp, i shouldn't name them- actually he'll probably go to poops....

Evening Okie friends! It is nice here, still in the sixties and going to be 80 tomorrow. Did some more gardening today.the birds are liking my gardening, they get all the grass and roots to pick thru!
I went into town this morning and came back thru the the country side of our street. About two blocks from my house there is a nice old barn where some people keep a mini donkey and a couple of boer goats in a side lot. They had company this morning. About city to sixty wild turkeys! I stopped and watched them till they stared getting nervous. The closet ones were only about ten feet from the road.the rarest ones no more than a hundred feet! A few toms were strutting. I woul have figured they would be splitting into breeding groups by now. It's quite impressive to see that many that close!

Hope everyone had a safe day and the fires didn't break out again.

Good Evening Peeps!

Not alot of chatting done today.
Everyone must have been outside working in this beautiful weather.

Had a few consignments called in today... Putting together a list. May even have a pregnant female Llama Saturday.

Well, it got up to 88 here today. Got a little sun burn today....

Tomorrow will be a busy day as well for me. Finishing up for the sale.

Peaches
