The grow out pen is up in the the barn now and the chicks are enjoying the larger space. At three weeks, my babies are getting featherd out nicely. The chicks are little nervous nellies, running to the corner under the cover when they hear a loud noise...They all stood very still when Thor crowed in the hen house.

Love Beth's little hutch set up in the pen with all that lovely rye grass for the chicks to explore!!!

- we will go up and get here wednesday, unless someone is coming this way from OKC anytime soon? maybe we can get chicken train going? Also, looks like the hunt for a husband for poser has been done- a gal on CL has a young Touloose gander we are buying.....will post pics when we get him
 
back amongst the okies...will post later tonight but am sneaking on between classes!

had a blast over the break...spent some great times with my little brother and played with birds! and pigs...and snakes!!!

Still hatching! with more to come...I think I forgot how to hatch duck eggs though. Just sent the bator with the ag teacher. Sent them wik like 10dozen eggs from me...yeah I am back in full swing! like 18 from my bro and like 4-5 dozen from the elementary principal! Still have room for more!!! Sh ehas one onf the sportsmans I have and like two styrafoam bators so I still have plenty of room!!!

The Singing Churchmen of Oklahoma will be in concert at Mulhall-Orlando school(215 South Lewis
Mulhall, OK 73063) on March 24.
This will be an opportunity to not only hear the SCM and orchestra but some of the students in the school's music depart will be singing with us on several songs.

Corny is an ex-battery hen. She escaped from the egg factory, was picked up by a bird, then dropped into the Stewart yard. The Stewarts washed away her blood and tended to her torn skin, then adopted her into their family. She needs all of us now. Her life depends upon the surgery. If you can find it in your heart to give even the smallest amount, it would amount to a great blessing.
