Hi Okies, catching up on posts and started hearing a helicopter, I looked outside and it is a news 9 chopper filming a fire just NE of me, trying to get ahold of Okracefan to see if he is in danger of it. It is to close for comfort for me.

My new niece was born today she weighed 8lbs 1oz, and she is my first niece on my side of the family. Mother and daughter are doing well, in fact this is the first one that didn't go straight to the nicu (Stacey's two boys stayed over a month in the nicu after birth.)

Hello all. Today my new egg scale arrive, so of course I had to weigh some of my girls' treasures, and thought I'd share some pics with ya. While I was busy playing with my new toy, dinner overcooked. Oh well, it's just me here, so no one else has to know, right?

Jumbo egg. She must have had a big meal first!

More typical egg.

Some that my grandkids colored last night. The darker colored ones were the brown eggs. They turned out as pretty as the white ones!
