Ive got a couple questions about poultry auctions, specifically the one at Durant. I am planning on raising 50 or so chickens to sell later this summer and was wondering the following.

1. Do you sell your cages with them?
2. Do you sell them as singles or pairs?
3. How much could you expect to make off of a chicken thats 3 months old?

He is a fine looking goose. Glad he didn't get injured by the dogs.

Sounds like you were the successful bidder on some of Carla and Gerald's eggs at the Fletcher auction if you are setting marans, olive eggers and frizzle NNs.

Are you doing the standard things to help you sleep at night - like avoiding caffeine in the afternoon and eating a tablespoon of honey before bedtime? Hope you get some rest

cool egg scale - I have never seen a digital scale for eggs -
I didn't realize that brown eggs would hold color like that. Did you use a special kind of egg dye or the old fashioned food coloring and vinegar recipe?

well, poser camped in her usual spot, but Mr P decided he would stay in the middle of the pond- hope he will be ok over nite, tomorow will try to get him and poser in a fenced in garden we have- they seem to do fine together, and he was happily swimming in circles
