I'm starting from scratch on the coop, I went a little backwards because I thought I had one coming but the other end backed out :-/ but thank you guys for the responses! And where do I find freestyle? Is it in this same section?

There was a gorgeous red barred rooster that went through the Fletcher auction last Saturday. I don't know who ended up with him. I don't think he sold for much either.

Hello,
I'm back after extending my trip in Michigan. I went to help my Mom who got out of the Hospital after breaking her leg. A day after she got home my Dad went in with kidney failure and more. He hadn't been taking care of himself while Mom was gone. He is better now but in a rehabilitation center and we don't know if he will ever get to come home. Mom will be 82 next month and Dad will be 88.
It is a difficult time for our family. My two brothers are closer and I am proud to be their sister they are looking after our parents so well. Our farm has been in our family for 136 years but if looks like we will be selling it soon.
Joe took care of my chickens so well while I was gone. The Chicken Pen Palace is almost done and the 4 breeding pens in it are already full. Jack hatched some Mille fleur Cochin eggs for me and all 9 hatched!!!!!!
Hope everyone has been well and chicks are hatching. What are the latest news highlights? I don't know if I will ever catch up on the back posts.

Lets see, we got a gander for our goose, its a riot watching them prance around- i am trying to get a ride for a NNhen down from OKC, our car is being finicky! i made a mistake of going by TSc, so i will be bringing chicks to sell at poops- they are just too darn cute! Sounds like your hatch was wonderful...pics???

2nd night of parent/teacher conferences. I've only seen one parent so far. We're here until 7:00, again. My classroom shares a wall with the teacher's lounge, so my room smells like bar-b-q beans, which is the tangiest part of the meal provided by the local Baptists church. They have excellent potato salad!
