Firefly, if any new homes are being built around your area ask if you can have any lumber scraps, you would be amazed what you can get that way. I have a friend who cleans up after a few builders and that is where i get most of mine.

I think they are less expensive than that when purchased as juveniles from a hatchery - even with shipping.

I think that I would have to save that carton!!! And yes i would go by a lottery ticket also.

NoCityBoy and I are okay, the fire was inbetween our house It was about 2 miles south of me and 1 mile from my brother. Also ya might want to say some prayer fro NoCityBoy, he is having some surgery on the 29th and I hear that he is a little nervous about it. I am sure that he will welcome them from all his fellow BYC'ers.

I was hoping to attend the Blanchard auction this weekend, I got some roos I need to get rid of. I have to attend a fund raiser for my wife's work and Bristol Palin is the keynote speaker. Might actual get to meet her. If I do I will see if they have chickens in Alaska and tell her about Okies in the BYC. lol
