Good morning okies

guess everyone is off to the auctions today! I wish I could but work calls :-/ does anyone know where I can grab up some stuff to put together a coop? Or where I can get a coop at a good price? Chicken math is taking over around here and I've got a bunch of lil peeps about ready to spend some outside time but no where for them to stay safely without constant supervision, oh dear

Good morning Mio!!! Ther Guy Rose auction is easy to find, if you are coming to Perkins from the south, east or west you will com in on hiway 177 from the south or hiway 33 from the east or west, if coming from the south or east you will come to an intersection with a Sonic on the north east corner, from there you will continue on west for one mile( the next intersection) and from there you will turn north(your right) and go 2 and 1/2 miles( or 2 intersection and half way on past) You will see a few buildings on the east side of the hiway(your right) and the Guy Rose auction will be the one with the car port looking section and all the vehicles setting around on that side of the road, you will see stacks of hay for sale and people everywhere!!! If you are coming into Perkins from the North, you will be coming in on hiway 177 thru Stillwater, the GRA is on the east side of the hiway at 4 and 1/2 miles sout of 6th street(this is 51 hiway coming into Stillwater) and Perkins RD(also 177 hiway) intersectiom in Stillwater!!! Hope this helps everyone, if you get lost PM me or call me on my cell if you have my number!!! Lynn In Morrison, just 12 miles north and 3 miles east of Stillwater!!!!

I don't have any d'uccles but I have lots of Mille Fleur chicks. 20 so far, 11 in the incubator and 29 going in the incubator Sunday. I live in Choctaw - you guys come on over! ("you guys" - you can tell I just spent time home in Michigan - we don't say "Y'all" up there. Funny - when I was there the told me I have an accent!

got a question for you guys? Do any of you work with sebrights? I just acquired a 2 year old buff laced sebright rooster that is not a bad little bird. Figured on pickin up a couple golden sebright hens to put under him and see what I get...I would like some that would go broody, the only breeder I know around here says his wont go broody if you ducktape an egg to their backsides...the sebrights are gonna be my wifes project more than likely...

Morning folks! Sooner I thought her avatar said "Allen Chicken"! I couldn't figure out what an Allen chicken was!lol Not enough caffine for me obviously!lol

Robin between the geese ,the gunieas, and two dogs your days of sleeping late are over!lol Worse than haveing a bunch of little kiddos in the house!lol

Got the chick boxes cleaned out. The wife and her hospital nose thinks they stink to high heaven! I don't even notice them! But they are so cute!

I'm coming for a while - need some Chicken therapy. After all the rest I got Thursday (slept from 8:00 am. to 1:00 pm., the 3:00pm. to 6:00pm.) I went to bed at 8:30 last night and didn't get up till 8:30 am. today! Guess Stress is a cure for Insomnia and Chickens are a cure for Stress.

I would love another dog but Dogs in Choctaw need to be chained or behind a fence! Kind of silly if you see all the livestock around here. Our sweet Louie has to be on a chain because we don't have a fence and he could climb it easy if we did - one of his few flaws he is a Houdini (the Husky in him) He can wiggle out of a colar in a heartbeat and has even got out of a harness! so he has a choke chain too.! hope you fine new homes for the "fosters"
