I need the warmer weather too! We won't even see 70 till the end of the week!

Lil'Sooner is hatching for a friend so I just get to watch. This is my kind of hatching, hatch it & give it away. LOL.

it's a Monday....

the goose and gander go everywhere together. their voices 'rankle', and 'ouch' breaking the silence.
Well his voice sounds like he is saying...' ouch' and of course that ole' goose standby... ACK

robin came home with 8 more chicks, they were afflicted with poopy butts.

Only a pair of EE's. I still have the solid blues. The three blue hens I have are supposed to be Ameraucans and look every bit the part but I am not 100% sure.
I have them with a Blue Ameraucan roo so when I start getting chicks, I should be able to tell.

Sooner, Carla is the biggest turkey hatching person I know.

Yesterday on the way to church we saw about a dozen wild turkeys on the side of the road. i stopped to look at them and one of the hens looked like a Royal Palm. I guess she decided to live on the wild side.

Yeah I know that but I never seem to be online when she is. The last time I hatched them, I would loose them after the hatch & they also seemed not to have absorbed the yoke well or something because the imbilical wasn't right. I willl be doing some reading until I find someone to ask.
