Monticious. Your "coming to POOPS" list and my POOPS Attendees list are different...how did that happen?

Oh, and if you POOPSters would please check the LINK and make sure your name is correct for your nametag, that would be awesome.

(Momma_Raven - did you get my PM?)

That made me LOL!

we got some of that weird stuff falling from the sky! wow... is it cold!

yep- i have a pic on my computer of Smudge the duckling the coon last year got- so i know how ugly it can be- he was sleeping and pretty clueless- lethargic and all-

city- i am so sorry bout those turkens! i really doubt the DE did it, isn't that pretty harmless stuff?

one of my large cochin gals is limping, so she is in the isolation pen till i figure out what is going on with her- any suggestions what i should be looking for?

OK, I have a question. Being my first year with chicks, I ordered several breeds in my initial hatchery purchase so I could see which ones I like best and kind of go from there. The ones I was really excited about ordering were my Buff Brahmas. Supposed to be such friendly birds. They are 9 weeks now. Can't get anywhere near the pullet and the cockerel bites the fire out of me every time I sit in the coop to watch the chickens. Is this normal with hatchery chicks? Or did I just not get luck of the draw?

Their personalits might change. They are teenagers!Ugh!No explaining it!lol The big heavy breeds usually are docile when grown.

I spent the morning hiding Easter eggs at the day care!No easy task, about 50-75 each for four classes. They are a mess!I miss working with them but there is no way I could keep up with them now!

Came home and mowed the yard and did the feeding chores. Its cool only in the low 50s here today.

I bet that was alot of fun Wayne. I know I can't keep up with them either!

As for the chicks, I personally think it is the breeding or luck of the draw. At least 4 others on here this morning were talking about how nice cochins are. I have several cochins standard & bantam but I have one that is mean! It just happens.
