Well folks, I'm going to turn in early tonight.

I'm going on a field trip with 50 2nd graders to George Washington Carver's childhood home tomorrow.

Hopefully the storms won't blow us away!

And I want more....hubby even mentioned building more pens....he's a big enabler. His parents had 1700 chickens back when he was little and they sold eggs to the grocery in Enterprise.

New chicks hubby picked up from TSC have now been placed in my master bath and schwewww they are noisy. hopefully when the lights are out they will quiet down for the night.

Ya know, i believe I have two LF Cochin partridge chicks...and I have plentyyyyyyyyyyy of chicks. But I will say that the two cochins I got at the blanchard auction are amazingly sweet. Can pick em up no problem.

By the way, hoping to bring the hubby by this weekend. He said with over 20 chicks he better get started on the next coop. Any day not a good day to come?
