Morning Okies, The rain just made a big circle around me yesterday, I didn't get a drop of the stuff.

That does help Buster - thanks!

I am always afraid to ask after any chickens that leave my property. For some reason "leaving the property" seems to be a high-ranking cause of death among seemingly perfectly healthy birds.

I hope you can make it to the People of Oklahoma Poultry Swap May 14 in Fletcher. So glad you found us!

We need it so bad you could twist an ankle in the cracks in the ground if your not watching where you walk.

Any chance you guys will get some out of this passing now??? OUr weatherman said we should have systems every 3 or 4 days.

I will definitely have lots of both there!

And chicks and chicken hatching eggs. I think we have several hundred eggs due to hatch within the next few weeks, including some muscovy ducklings which will be a first for us.

I hope muscovy don't need some special conditions other than taking 35-37 days to hatch. Does anyone know?

Well, we're headed out this morning to Horn Seed Company this morning. They're having a big sale today, celebrating 80 (I think) years in operation in Oklahoma City. I love to buy plants and seeds!

Hopefully we'll get to go to the Blanchard auction tonight & sell some hatching eggs. Gerald just washed over 200 yesterday alone

Our birds are in full production now. Actually, I hope our little shower we had this morning will slow them down. We're running out of places to stack the trays of eggs!

As it stands right now we only have a 30% chance and most of the good stuff is to the east and north, the main dry line is already past us and will continue to develop to the east.....................

Let me know if you need any paper pulp flats for the eggs. I have a huge stack and you are welcome to them.
