I keep hoping the wood will all just float away but I don't think that will happen! LOL.
We have alot that needs burned & the place will sure look better! The rain is helping me on several fronts, once it dries alittle it will be easier to level out the ground for sod & seed.

We still have rain here too. It is fluctuating from light to torential still. I think we have had somewhere near 5 inches we are in flood warnings. But if my place floods we got big problems b/c we live on the hill.

I am watching the Discovery channel and they are showing pictures of the Tsunami that hit Japan earlier this year. There were 45 foot waves and they described the flooding as "of Biblical proportions." Makes me glad to live in Oklahoma where any water issues will come from the sky rather than from an ocean.

That's the truth, there are some benefits to being land locked!

Just came a downpour here. It's let up for now, but I'm sure more will come before morning.

I don't think the malay egg in the incubator is going to hatch.

day 21 was Saturday

We were also watching that until a few minutes ago.

I can tell when the next big down pour gets here because the dish goes out for a couple of minutes.

This is our first year in almost 10 years to see the weather on the tv, we just switched from satalite to cable.

No cable here, it stops at the end of the road! We have regular TV in the bedroom & I use the computer for most of the weather anyways.

Interesting pics! Chickens sure get some funny ideas sometimes.
I went out to check on my pens. I was concerned about my 9 week olds in this rain. They were nearly dry! The "adult" birds were the wet ones, some of them just standing there soaked.

they really are funny personalities- tonite everyone had the same height to roost on, so they stand there just looking around- finally i turned the light off, i was tired so i just went and checked and somehow in the dark they got settled in- hmmm... a novel concept- turn off the light and they will get themselfs roosted.....

we have satelite internet- so its like a yoyo in bad weather, same as satelite tv
