the distance means nothing, i ordered from ideal in texas, they went through PENNSYLVANIA before they got here...another one I dont understand, I ordered some birds from a guy in missouri, he is in far southwest missouri, barely over the line and I am half an hour from OKC...they went from his post office to springfield, to kansas city, to tulsa, to oklahoma city, to shawnee and then finally to my town...there was another town in there but dont remember...the postal service makes no sense to me...

That's what i was afraid of. I hope my chicks make it safely with this weather we're having! Looks like it's getting ready to rain again here. It's been on and off all night in this area. At least we live on a hill so we'll be ok, I just hope everyone else stays safe as well!

my chicks arrived alive and in good shape but it is still ridiculous how they ship them...when its just paper mail thats fine, but you would think they could do it a little different when it came to live animals...

what made me mad is I ordered some birds from NORTH CAROLINA, they were shipped out monday afternoon, and they arrived here in wellston oklahoma tuesday morning....it took them 16 hours to travel from N.C. to here, but missouri to here or texas to here it takes at least an additional day....???

Thinking of all who are flooded in!

LOVE the Clematis pictures!! I planted one last year in my back yard. Thought it had withered away a couple months later but this year it's come back with SO many buds!!

One upside to the rain: all the worms in the puddles and mud. The kids introduced the chicks to a couple tiny worms last night. It was quite amusing. They weren't quite sure what to do with them.

I knew I should have just driven up there to get them, but figured the shipping was going to be cheaper then the gas. Guess I just need to keep praying for my chickies! lol
Those flowers are beautiful! Clematis have always been some of my favorites! Wisteria is my other favorite. I don't have either in my yard. I think that's something I need to remedy!
