Are you thinking Hovabator or Little Giant? Still air or with a fan?

It's a little giant still air incubator. An egg turner would be another $40

The Little Giant incubators don't have a very good reputation. They don't seem to hold heat well. I don't know why the Hovabators seem to work better, since both are made of foam, but there seems to be a difference. Also, the Little Giant turners have a poor reputation as they get older, when the plastic square egg cups don't want to stay attached to the turner. Just my thoughts.

I was recommended to use a genisis 1588 and it works awesome. I have a egg turner but i met a friend and she turns hers by hand and has better results. So this round im gonna try it.

hope it helps.

Ok, looking for some opinions on what type of wire is best for chicken runs. I have found in the past that bantam chicks can escape from chicken wire so do you think I should use wire mesh? Or do you have other recommendations or ideas? I am going to be building new chicken runs and coops this weekend and am looking for some input..
