Glad you got to visit with him! I miss having him around, seems like the day shift is slowing down with the nice weather. I have NN eggs in my bator along with Turkey eggs. I hope to learn how to hatch turkey eggs this year.......

What kind of turkeys are you hatching? I have hatched a few Narragansetts and until Bill Bailey reminded me to put a chicken chick in the brooder with them, to teach them how to eat and drink, the poults weren't surviving.

I don't usually get to visit with the "day shift" but am on annual leave today, getting ready for my mother and sister to arrive this afternoon. They are coming from San Antonio for our youngest son's graduation from Oklahoma Christian University tomorrow.

So, at one point, Fletcher was going to be scaled back to just the 3rd Saturday, but now I am hearing it is back on for the 5th Saturday.

So, will there be a Fletcher auction this Saturday?

POCO it is only three days till i go to the auction at cenerton i am counting the days it will have been 4 weeks sence i was at a auction man i have been having withdrals

The mom is a burbon red, I have no idea on the daddy. Since I get to talk to bill often I did do that with the one I got hatched last year. The other's didn't finish obsorbing before they hatched & I lost all of them except the one. It thinks it's a chicken & was the friendliest turkey I had ever seen.

Congrats to your son & you for getting him through it!
