Wow Nana how do you have time for that much garden and raise chickens and all those cows too!
The Canadas sure are pretty. We have a lot of them here. They are full time resdients and most concider them a nusicance. I love when they fly over head going from one pond to another. They honk really loud.

DW and DD are talking/planning on a trip back on the poops weekend so I guess its finally going to happen. And I have a ride lined up(my niece). We will get up early and drive there and only stay a couple of hours and drive back. Long day of driving but I am looking forward to seeing folks even if for just a handshake hi and bye!lol

the flea market is satuday and sunday, starting at sunup and going til whenever everyone leaves, lol...contact michael daugherty, he normally brings a lot of the birds up there, he might have what you are lookin for...

You can tell from the picture that the garden needs to be mowed and the weed wacker run around the boxes.
The garden was being planted beginning in late Feb. On those nice days in winter the beds are cleared, compost added and turned. I can only work about an hour a day in the garden....that hour is broken into small units of time.... we mulch everything to keep down the weeds...that cuts down on a lot of work.

Lucy and Goosey announce their arrival each evening and come under the pasture fence now to meet me 1/2 way up the drive. I can get between 6 and 10 feet before the both tell me to stop. They are beautiful in flight...

Glad to hear you are coming to poops. Sorry we won't be there to meet all the great folks here.

Edmond was really windy this afternoon. I was taking pictures of our 3 sons after the youngest graduated from Oklahoma Christian this afternoon and I had them face into the wind so the graduate's ribbons and hood wouldn't blow forward and cover his face. They looked like they were in a wind tunnel.

Congratulations on your new graduate, that's awesome!
