I saw my serama pair trying to mate today. Do you have to do any trimming on them like you do some breeds,to help with fertility? My roo either is inexperinced or something because I don't think he was sucessful. I like the unique colors but whiteh the jap colors it always makes you wonder if they are true seramas or mixedd real close with the japanese bantams!
takes some practice. mine use to just fall off or didnt get the job done. lol but now the hen will turn her tail feathers so ya can just tell. I thought the same about the japs but a breeder told me one of my hens has the green legs and they was hatched out of the same eggs. He said she will throw yellow and green legs but will have to cull her.

maybe there is someone close you could ride with? thats what we are doing-
trying to play catchup- you guys have been chatty!!
hey, when a domestic goose goes broody, does the gander hang close to where she is? seems poser is awol tonite, am assuming she is sitting somewhere? how long will they sit a nest?
Well my trip back from the city was harrowing to say the least. The wind was so bad it made climbing hills against the wind make you think you were driving a Yugo or something. My palms finnaly quit sweating and my knuckles are now returning to their original color. I have come to the conclusion that if your going to make your home in Oklahoma you can't be a panzy, this weather is only for the gutsy. The good news is I got some great barrels thanks to havinfun aka allen, such a nice guy.
Hi guys, Looking for some asil hens or pullets. Anyone know where I might come up with some.
there is a guy up by tulsa that has pretty much all asiatic game birds, I think all his may be bantams, but he has aseels, shamos, and others...he goes by split_socket somethign on here, I know cuban_longtail would know his screenname...cuban might have some....

Robin the Ganders are great watch dogs they will protect that goose and alert everytime you walk by, if you have a flock the girls will take turns sitting until the last few days then the boss lady takes over and doesn't budge from that nest. They will set about 30 days or so. My first natural hatched goslings came yesterday the goose somehow convinced a drake duck that he was the baby's daddy and he has been a great dad so far but boy is he going to be surprised when those little ones don't grow up to look like him. He has stayed at her side and tried to attack anything that has gotten close I'm glad they hatched he was starting to look poor.
