call ducks are hard to hatch...I have them so i know that my male to female ratio is good, eggs are fresh, handled nicely (well as nicely as boys can be) and my hatch rate is horrible! I would run 85-90% on quail, like 80% on chickens and turkeys, 75% on guineas, other ducks would be like 60% and my calls will run 25%...I think they are the devil...
