Not sure if this is ok to post here? But, i thought a thread specific to check okies after these storms- needs etc? I know of some who have lost everything including their birds-

Fellow Okie checking in...

We were really close to getting a tornado, the weather producing them was headed straight for us, but then it shifted and missed us completely. We got some hail the size of marbles last night, and the power went out, but that's about it... I'm so sorry for everyone who has seen worse than us out here. You guys are in my prayers, but hopefully the worst is behind us, now.

Does anyone have contact or know about the disaster at Orr Family Farm? Some people I know are sending out word through FB that they are friends with the owner but can't get an update besides what the news ran about up to 100 horses killed. Cell phone and home phones are not getting answered.

Sorry, no...
... How're you guys over there? Things didn't get too bad here, but with all the talk of tornados, I was biting my nails.

We are all good here. We had some crazy thunder and 50 mph winds from the south just before the tornado cranked up. It appears that it came down about 5 miles north of me. Had to go to the daughters in Newcastle yesterday evening and drove thru some damaged areas. It crossed Hwy 76 about 1 1/2 miles south of Hwy 37 but it was not very big. It crossed Hwy 37 about 3/4 mile west of Walmart and by this time it had increased in size by 10 times. I have not heard of any BYC'ers that was affected here in the Newcastle area.

we had torrents of rain here today, did a walk around didn't see any damage other than branches- seems by the time the storms get near to tulsa, they are winding down- glad to see folks posting though
