We live in NE Oklahoma, where we are expecting a "winter event" later today, could mean anything from rain to snow, but that's Oklahoma for ya.
Our home, know as "Hilltop Homestead" sits on 2.5 acres. Presently we have 15 hens and 1 rooster, but will be ordering chicks soon, layers and fryers too. Also, thinking about turkeys. We have plans to add goats in the near future.
We are a family of 4 children with two grown, son and daughter, and two teenage daughters at home. We have 4 cats and 3 dogs.
We enjoy living in the country doing our own thing from tending our animals, garden, and hobbies. Mostly we are about family. There you have it, a quick look at us.
