This fowl has its roots in midieval century Azerbaijan .
The information that lays within is taken that go back as far as the mid I have researched these birds for quite a few years (11 years) now, These birds are from Marand regions in Azerbaijan .They are very rare now. But Revival of this chicken was carried out (by Mr. Kia Ansari in 2007 -2018)
