First timer here!! I have 10 Khaki Campbells arriving in a couple of weeks - we duck egg lovers and finally live on property and can have our own ducks!! I need a little help being fully prepared before they arrive!

I have a chicken coop on the property and am thinking I'll build an outdoor pen around the coop. I'm also trying to determine the best way to keep them in the house while they are in a brooder/when to move them out to the garage, etc... for this breed in particular, I've read some conflicting things on what they need!!

I'm super overwhelmed by all the options out there and I've never done this before... so... would LOVE any advice and help!! I've read dozens of articles, threads on this form and the more I read the less sure of my plans I am.

Thanks in advance!! :)

KC are great ducks and produce lots of eggs so that’s s bonus as for the chicken coop the only thing you may have to change is nesting boxes need to be on the ground as they don’t fly. Also for inside just use a kiddie pool heat lamp red bulb pine shavings 5 gallon water (they drink a ton of water) duckling feed and around 2 weeks you can give treats we gave ours broccoli cauliflower and watermelon and they would and still go nuts over it.we go down and feed our ducklings 3 times a day out of our hands to get them used to use and now they love people and my 3 year old son. We give them 24/7 feed and water they will need chick grit if you feed them fruits and veggies. Good luck with your ducklings I pick up 10 more tomorrow

Hello..Ducklings don't require as much heat as Chicks..Brood them with a heated area and a cooler area..Provide feed and water 24/7. Try to get feed that is safe for Ducklings..Only use Chick starter if that's all you can find..All flock feed is fine.
I move my Ducklings out to my garage Brooder at 2 weeks and then out to the Coop and Run for day trips. I provide heat at night if temps are cool..
Use your better judgement and they will do great..
