I have 2 dozen eggs at Day 2 and a half in the incubator right now, and a bunch of them have wiggly air cells that look like they're already at Day 12 air cell size! Ugh! When I first got them the air cells for them were already shockingly huge and wiggly. I got these eggs from the local farmer's market, I've hatched out good batches of eggs before, what I do is ask them to bring me their freshest eggs (gathered that day). I seriously think the guy totally forgot, and just pulled one on me by giving me old eggs.
Maybe 10 of them have fresh looking air cells. Should I just dump these other ones? Even if they were viable, I'm doing a dry hatch and only have one incubator.. I have to say I'm really disappointed, I paid $14 for 2 dozen questionable eggs. Some of them are as huge as duck eggs, others are bizarre shapes. All the normal sized ones look infertile. I kind've wish I'd just gotten hatching eggs locally (I'm in Los Angeles)........ Any advice?
