I bought 2 pullets when they were about 8 weeks old (they we hatched the beginning of March) I was told that they were old English game bantams but they seem way too big to be bantams. Maybe they are standard size old English? I'm not sure how much they weigh but they are about the size of my silver Phoenix hens (but not as fat). Also, any idea what color variety they are?

I think you have brown Leghorn pullets. The white earlobes and lean bodies are the tell tales for me. When they start laying, if they lay nice stark white eggs, there's your answer.
