My broody hatched 3, I finished off incubating 5 more. One died in the incubator, Mama hen accepted the remaining 4. One more died a day or two later, but Mama raised 6. Now they are seven weeks old and she's finished raising them (wont let them near her on the roost and if they get within 2 feet of her she'll chase them off).Has anyone had success with eggs hatching in the bator after the broody quit? I'm really hoping because I lost two of these eggs to a juvenile that she hatched out last time and only had 5 left.
