I think he got 21 chicks from that hatch. It was a ton! It was funny watching her try to keep up with all those babies too.

You know, now I have this fear of OMG, what if all 18 ARE viable? lol I really don't want that many...I'm thinking only like half will be viable then some of those may not hatch lol. Guess we will see.

My two broodies are still sitting tight. (Day 9) I now have a 3rd broody.

yeah...head Roo Sammy had his way a few times with mama this week that I know of. It is cute....the little flock of 4 youngins....lol...

Yep. But I dont have a rooster. I borrowed 5 fertile eggs from a friend for my first two broodies. The third is sitting on air.

Thanks you guys! They are a hoot. Mom gets kind of distracted when they're outside so I have to put them back in the coop to settle down, but they are adorable.

I took everyone out of quarantine today and moved them back into the coop since everyone has the sickness now (probably MG, but oh well) so I let everyone out.
