Do they look like maggots? fat white wiggle things or somekind of worm? if maggots be sure to check her bottom everyday, because they can go up inside and cause havock. http://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q...k8cZso&sig=AHIEtbQjrfmGRxDw5B_UrnbGKxNg1QMpTQ

put something over the eggs so you can dust her real good. check out her vent while you have her off to make sure there are none inside. probably 30 min mx. are you having flies this time of year?

I think you don't have any choice, unless you have something natural but DE won't help. do you have any natural fles spray, just go ahead and dust because you have to get rid of them they can kill her and I know you don't want that. And I am sorry if I am upsetting you but maggots are very serious.

no you aren't upsetting me- i am so aggravated at this point- she is such a good little hen- will get right on it... would ivomec help in case there are any in her???

it is serious. I have gone as far as bringing the hen in the bathtub for a good bath. Once they realize you aren't trying to kill them, they enjoy it.

Take care of it right away. I have lost hens this exact way. But I didn't catch it in time.

she will be getting bath, and a blowdry, need to get a blowdryer, ours quit- just checked her, no sign of them- but will bathe her anyway, adams flea shampoo?
