As of so far, the blue eggs have yet to hatch.

They may be delayed a little as they cooled off for a few hours last Friday. But mama is still sitting so I won't give up yet. I did go out and try to candle twice, but I don't have a really strong light and all I could see was the aircell... I'm not sure but I think one may have detached; it looks a little sideways. I'm worried about the temp and humidity cause mama is hovering with her week old babies under her... If they haven't hatched by Wednesday I don't think they will. I don't know if I have the guts to eggtopsy them.

I should though, cause I'd hate to throw out a live chick!!!

well, right before hatching the aircell does tilt to the side, so maybe thats a good sign? i can't see to tell what my EE's are doing anything either than the aircell....

had one of THOSE days, go shopping, come home & the ee broody decided to go freerange, not sure how long she'd been off the eggs, so i wrap them up in a sweatshirt, get the rest the chickens in, and she decides she is supposed to be hatching eggs... sheesh....so i go to bring them back, and slip- 8 eggs hit the deck...arhhhhh...so she now has 5 eggs..... boy do i feel dumb

cindylou hasn't left the nest at all today, wednesday is 21 days, so maybe we'll have babies soon!!

Wow! That's a lot of broodies!!!!

Is it maybe a little early in the year to let them hatch things, if they won't settle?
