Same here, had 3 at once. Craziness. But I'll say this everyone knew who mama was, and the mama's knew who their babies were. I don't know how, but they did

It only happened a few times when the mommas whould start to come out all at once, there were a few squabbles, then they took turns bringing out their brood and all calmed down. And also one of the mamas decided she wanted one of the other mamas brood that did go over real well either. lol

pics taken, I'll upload them later. Ok, I've had 14 broody's this year, but this one is really cool. I spend the day in the same room as her. I'm building a dining table, and she is moving her eggs, rearranging whatever she is rearanging, and the entire time, she knows I'm watching and doesn't care. I did get a bunch of stink eye, if I got to close

. It is quite cool. I hope she is a good broody as she is only 7 months old. So far so good. My only concern is how much she plays with the eggs. Moving them all over the place. Good thing those Sumatra shells are like iron

ohhh, I had that happen. "mama" stole a blue chick from the black broody that was next to her in the Sumatra shed (formally my storage shed). It took a few days, but eventually that blue chick was hers! I guess she figured, hey, I'm blue, you aren't. Give me that chick. lol

Thats funny, yep so many looked alike and mamas too, I don't know how they kept everything straight, what was funny is one morning i went into the coop and one of the mamas had hers and anothers chicks under her and the mama without hers was picthing a fit, you should have seen me trying to help solve that problem. I finally let them figure it out.
