Yes you can but because they grow very partial to the nest box they pick it would be good idea to close her up in the new nest for a couple 3 days with food and water till she gets use to her new digs. A large dog crate even works if thats all you have, i have a duck setting in one now. but be sure you can close her up tight at night where ever you decide to put her. And don't forget to post back how it all goes along with Pics..
 
monday will be day 20 with my broody on the eggs.
Id like to move her and them tonight because both my husband and I have to work monday and tuesday and im afraid the chicks will hatch and they will be mixed in with the other hens and roo while im not around. Im not sure if they will hurt the babies or not.

Can I move them so close to hatch? it wont hurt the eggs or confuse mama too much will it?

haven't seen them yet. I think they are Mama's. I hear them cheeping. I snapped this pic, then told Mama and daughter I would see them tomorrow.

If you have a place where you can close her up till after hatch then deff move her, if the chicks were to fall out of the nest they are fair game. but don't forget to post back with pics of your hatch, we love baby pics..
 
I hope they come out for a walk tomorrow. Because on Monday we need to make a delivery to Manhattan (uggg, how I despise manhattan) . We will be gone until late afternoon. I really want to see the cute little fuzzy butts!
