Okay über moms, what breeds are the broodies?
My two broodies are a silkie & a EE (Aruacana that doesn't make standard). They both gave up anywhere between 3 to 5 weeks for their broods.

I know, I still drool over your buff. I would love to have one big broody. I'm still hoping one of my lav orps will go broody next year. It's harder to get the two broodies on the same schedule.

you should get smokey or Topsy to hatch a BO egg next year!, im deffo keeping BO's in my flock they are great for everything!

I have a silkie, a cochin and two mixed breed game hens that are broody. Cochin is on week six, silkie is on week 1 (with babies) and the two mixed game hens - 1 is sitting on a golf ball - she keeps changing nests. I haven't decided what to do with her yet, the other one is due to hatch very soon. She has 4 eggs.
