Anticipation is a cruel, cruel thing. Hope she struts 'em out soon for ya!

I put her and the drake in there two months ago, when it started looking like she would never lay eggs. But, even though the nests and pond in the other coop were far better, she just likes the old crate better. Suffering is right!

Aww that's too bad. I know with chickens you go in at night remove the eggs and with your hand over the top of the chick you gently put the chick under said hen, I've never done it with a Duck . After you put the ducklings under you hang around to make sure nothing happens and you go out early next morning by day light to make sure all is still well. They have to be day olds so they will bond with the duck too.
