Yeah it was really hot then it just started pouring. The weather has been nuts around here & all with all this rain the mosquitos are bad. The ducks arent doing there job eating the mosquitos either...

Yeah!! I think someone (neighbor) is feeding them & it isnt us. Ive taken down all our feeders & now I have all the feed enclosed at all times..


As promised look how big the ducklings are getting..

Talk to them about how bold they can get and about Rabies. and those ducklings are adorable and they have really grown too, and the lil chick looks just like it's mama. lol

So far, all the drake has done is sort of neck wrestle them in the pool. We keep them separate as best we can in the pool. Otherwise, Woody seems quite content just to be sitting off to the side, watching. The little ones have learned he doesn't like them too close, and they keep a good distance.

We've noticed that 2 ducklings have short bills and 2 have long bills. I hope that means 2 girls and 2 boys. But I'm not sure which is which. I'm just glad they are healthy and happy. The one that had the seizures always sticks close to mom, and seems to pick up on everything first because of it. That one and the other long-billed duckling are the most adventurous of the group.
