Old hen eating my eggs what do I do?

I keep finding broken half-eaten eggs in my nest box, I've only found about three so I thought that maybe two hens were in the nest box and one got broken by mistake but I found her pecking at one today and don't want my whole flock to start. What do I do!

If you dont like the hen thats doing it cull her. It may be because shes bored... try putting greens like cabbage lettuce, green beans. What i do is spread hay out on the floor they love scratching. I also sometimes stack square bales and form a castle lol! They love going in it and picking around.When your whole flock starts eating the eggs your pretty much better off starting over!

Yes, just like poultryfan has said, once they get a habit of it, it's usually time to start over again. I had a flock of RIRs one time that started. I tried seperating the idiot who started it, but the others had already caught on. Good Luck!
