Old hen might be dying

Can very well be,:(
What breed is your hen??? Reason I ask,, different breeds have different life terms. Sexlink, and production hens generally live shorter lives. They produce a large number of eggs, and then just wear out.
Heritage breeds tend to live longer lives, but do not produce as many eggs in given short term. Over all they produce eggs during a longer lifetime.
My RIR hen is over 11 years old now. She is on retirement status, and has not produced many eggs in last few years. Last year , about 10 total. This year,, only about 2 so far. My chickens are pets, and live long lives.
Just give your chicken a good hug, and comfort her best you can:hugs

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:highfive:
