Old incubator

I was givin this old incubator and really want to use it. I can't seem to find any information/manuals to figure out if I have all the pieces and how this thing even works. Has anyone seen one of these before?

When I saw this I thought WOW!!, is that a kerosene heated incy??
The patent description doesn't specify but refers to the 'lamp' or hot water stove. The patent is from 1914. The invention is a heat regulating system for any appropriate box. Fascinating historical piece. Might have some value in the collectors market.

Thanks a lot guys! Gives me a starting point with how it works. Seems like even the patent is a lot different then how this one is built tho.. possibly a different model maybe
