I think that if their not moldy they will be fine. Also Freisian those are some beautiful chickens what kind are they?

Thank you, they are great characters they have highlighted my spelling issue with ie vs ei! They are chamois Dutch Friesian, or fries hoen, old heritage Netherlands rare breed.they are little characters, started laying in October and have not stopped and very very aware of any slight movements, but also follow me everywhere when they are out ranging with me. Highly recommend them if you can get them, these are the large fowl, the bantam version is tiny like a Nankin.

I would fight you for them! Shredded and bagged? Those should be just fine. If they are moldy, you'll know when you open them.

HA! If I still had my chickens you'd have to wrestle ME for those leaves!
